The late North Lincolnshire author Ted Lewis who created one of the big screen's best-known characters is himself set to be the subject of a new movie.
Mr Lewis, who died in Scunthorpe General Hospital in 1982 aged 41, wrote Jack's Return Home, the book that spawned the film Get Carter and the character Jack Carter as played by both Michael Caine and Sylvester Stallone.See the full content of this document
