Energy Efficiency Certificates (EPC) have been required on properties for sale since the beginning of the year but from this week, the regulation will now also apply to those which are rented out.

As their name suggests, the certificates have been introduced to help improve the energy efficiency of buildings and now the law states if you are buying or selling a home then you need one.
