GETTING my hands on this car is something I've been looking forward to for many weeks now, but thanks to the credit crunch and press fleet cutbacks, I've had to be patient.

I remember driving the 350Z when it was launched six years ago, so I knew it would be good. Last week though, my patience was rewarded with the arrival of this stunning-looking machine, and yes, it was definitely worth the wait. The new car is shorter than the last, and feels sharper to drive. Throughout its 40-year life, the capacity of the Z's six-cylinder engine has been reflected in its name.
