Scunthorpe 45 King's Lynn 27 SCUNTHORPE Scorpions managed to salvage some pride from the second leg of their Knock-out Cup semi- final at home to King's Lynn last night.

In a meeting which was finally halted after 12 heats because of rain, Scunthorpe were 45-27 in front after reeling off three successive 5-1 maximums during the middle section of the night.
