PREFAB HOUSES ARE THE FUTURE Low-cost sustainable prefabricated homes have an important role to play in alleviating the UK's housing crisis, according to research commissioned by the Royal Institute For Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Currently, construction rates are about 80,000 new homes below the level required to meet population growth and tackle affordability and supply issues.
