Damage to the region's libraries has cost more than pounds26,800 to repair over the past five years.
A Freedom of Information Act request by the Scunthorpe Telegraph showed that although damage caused by vandals has halved in the past two years from pounds4,252.53 in 2007/8 to pounds2,639.95 in 2008/ 9, substantial cash is still being spent on repairs.See the full content of this document
