A MOTORIST who abandoned his car after crashing into a hedge, was found fast asleep in bed when police arrived at his Traingate, Kirton-in-Lindsey home.

But Daniel Thompson was found to have 65mcgs of alcohol per 100ml of breath. And, when he appeared at North Lincolnshire Magistrates' Court, he admitted charges of drink-driving and failing to report an accident.
